Durham Giant I think you might be underestimating Leigh. As Budgie says they ran Wigan very close in their first league game, only falling behind in the last few minutes. I have no doubt that they will beat quite a few teams this season and are by no means certain to be relegated.

You can only judge a team on the day .

On the day we played them they were a shambles and we ran through them at will.

On that day we should have got 50. We let them back in because we went to sleep. We seem to do that all the time. When did you last see the giants put in an 80 minute performance. Top teams can do that regularly .

Last time I think we did it was when w rout 70 points on Hull.

We need to be tougher mentally. It is that switching off which costs us like V Leeds last season where we were cantering a game and lost in the last minute

So Leigh were crap, admittedly, yet you can't bring yourself round to give any credit at all when we did a little bit with ball in hand.

No I can credit them for getting back into the game but I thought they were very poor particularly in the forwards compared to the game they played against Wigan where I thought they were excellent and congratulated them on the game thread in the sin bin.

But on the day they were poor against Huddersfield and we should have taken advantage and put them too the sword.

Saints Wire or Hull would have taken advantage in a way that we didn’t
