Quote fartown since 1961="fartown since 1961"Looks to me like we are not in a good position and have one of two roads to follow. The decision is Kens ultimately but this is the biggest crossroads since 2001.
1) In Anderson we totally trust and it must be accepted that our current situation is purely down to ill fortune with injuries, the Ferres situation and unfortunate loss of player form and confidence at the wrong time and that given another couple of months Baloo will turn this around.
2) The coach has lost it and has taken this team as far as he can and we need a change of direction and an input of new ideas and a steadying hand on board as soon as possible.
There is a third option that maybe the answer lies somewhere in the middle perhaps the current malaise was spawned initially by injury and Ferres but a combination of a light squad and poor player on field decision has put the Coach in a situation he can't seem to handle. Do we stick or twist??
As supporters we can only turn up and do a 'Jools' support the team and accept that the club will eventually turn things around whatever and whenever that is. Our role is nothing more than that and we should not criticise or critique what's going on as after all we only pay £20 a game or do we?
I support home and away but don't live in Huddersfield now. So Wigan is a 160 mile round trip, Saints about the same and each home game a 40 mile round trip I know there are plenty of others like me.
My criteria is simple I love the club and like a good afternoons entertainment don't want to really influence things but have experienced a lot of ups and downs over the last 55 years and despite this to most people on here I don't fit the mound of a 'true supporter' because I tend to say if I think something isn't right or when facing a much longer journey home leave a few minutes before the end on both a bad day or a good day.
However do I think the current situation is down to unfortunate circumstance or poor planning?
Probably a bit of both but this season is now a write off as at best we might sneak into the super 8's but in all probability we will be in the middle 8's as I believe the club will stick with the coach and try and ride it out.
A cup run would seriously help to soften the blow and I do believe it's not the time to panic but ensure we survive in the Superleague this season and start planning for next now that our weaknesses have been ruthlessly exposed.
In my opinion Kyle Wood is not the answer in the halves his game management is not good and we should blood Brierley now.
The Connor Murphy partnership is not working Joe Wardle back to centre straight away.
Full back i'm not sure although Jordan Tansey looked the most accomplished in the role recently.
I don't think the pack played too badly today although Mike Lawrence must have tired of the hospital passes Wood kept giving him today.
However as I have said over and over priority is to get at least one aggressive forward to complement Ta'ai for next year two if Patrick goes as for a man playing for his future he is not doing enough.
Mndst Kopjack played 80 mins today and played very well made nonsense of us letting him go to sign Dan Smith on a long contract but as with Wood, Grix and Robbo their have been a few strange contracts handed out.
Every player has time to prove their worth but they need to put up their hands now.
I will trust in Ken Davey to do the right thing he has more than earned that right however as a true long time supporter I reserve the right to feel concerned about where we are and whilst I will always support I have grave misgivings about the path we are on as the performances and apparent fitness levels since we put this years plan into action don't appear to be working and they may need to change'"

There must be some effects from the number of injuries we started the season with, The Ferres situ also, Robbo should not have still being playing anyway, so whoever was responsible for that is the one to ask about it, That said I don't see Mr Anderson tuning it round.

It's no secret I am no fan of Mr Anderson, I have never been convinced by his coaching at all, I recognise we have had success under his tenure if you judge success by League position, ( which is everything to some I know ) To me the style of play is of far more important, and for me for the most part of the last two seasons we have had a very very poor style of game, with a good performance thrown in here and there. Much ,or even most of our success can be put down to Defence and D Brough.
That's not to say we haven't got other good players, but he has been the king pin especially with his kicking game, The other thing I keep saying is that all our players have gone backwards,
When you have a forward who could offload with the best of them at Cas who now never even tries, who do you look too. Big Eorl is another who's talent has been wasted, He is a very big guy who had a lot of pace, Not all that common, N Brown was turning Eorl into a good offloading forward, someone had turned him into a very average battering ram, complete waste, who do you look too.
Why did we get rid of Mullally, ? because one or two on this board didn't like him, He was the most aggressive forward we had, He hit the line like he meant to break it, but he got so little game time it was untrue, Yet he did well for Wakey and seems to be going OK at leeds. who do you look too.
All stuff like this can't be put down to this seasons bad injury start, I may be putting it too strongly for some but for me Mr Anderson just does not measure up to the likes of D Powel who has had far less to work with.
I do agree with Steve May though as well, The problems may well start higher up the food chain, Some one is allowed to get away with blunders seemingly without any problem, Players let go who never should have been, Players moved on, then brought back, players sacked that cost half a million, Players signed illegally resulting in fines and payment to Bradford.
All this from a professional multi-million pound business, That we are repeatedly told are punching above their weight, and are being let down by the fans. I understand Daz and his point of view, the club is obviously a big part of his life, I can see he enjoys all aspects of Matchday, I'm sure their are more like him, But I can tell you, they are very much a minority.
The Giants are not big in most people lives, they have other things of far greater importance to them, Yes a lot of them like a game of Rugby like me, but you can't cajole or attempt to shame them into going, you have to sell it too them to get them to part with money that many of them have other things they need to spend it on.
I know nothing about what goes on in the running of the club, except it seems to be very poor, but I know what I see on the field, I see the standard of the players, and the style of play dished up and it's not up to the standard of a super league club with any ambition.
It's only my opinion obviously but we have gone backwards wherever we have been finishing in the League, The dwindling number of people turning up seems to bear that out, But at the end of the day Mr Davy is the man in charge, if he is inclined to let things carry on both on and off the field, that's his business, but he must surely know the present trend in support will just continue.
We need a D Powel or another N Brown from somewhere.
