Played for Swinton against Fax today. The BBC radio commentary praised him and said something to the tune of,

"If he's off to Leigh next season as rumoured, you can see why."

Anyone heard eauwt? Anyone know eauwt of him? Seems to be a LF who'll be 23 years old next season - and an ex-Miners player.

Bongser, he was mentioned as a signing a few months ago. Nothing official of course but there were reports that he had signed in the Yorkshire Press - and they usually get these things right. So, yes the rumours seem to be true on this one given your comments

As well as both Dan Norman and Owen Trout signing for us I think that the other one mentioned was the Saints player, Lewis Baxter. It has been announced in Love Rugby League that both Norman and Baxter are not only leaving Saints at the end of the season but that they are both linked with signing for Leigh

No problemo.

Its interesting to see that we are being linked with a number of promising young British forwards. It is perhaps an indicator, although no more than that, that two of our overseas signings, probably Ava but possibly also Big Ben will be offloaded so freeing up one and possibly two overseas quota spots.

I have to admit that this is purely speculation on my part and is not based upon fact. Indeed, it might just be a conspiracy theory I have just cobbled together.

Interested in the Leigh connection though. That would be two aboard and may hint at a broader plan?
