In fairness to Budge, Charlie, you were in disguise. Presumably 'cause the missus was chaperoning you, you looked pretty smart - in a Peaky Blinder sort of way. :)

Being a owd goat , I do try to look smart these days , I’ve much else going for me , I’ve started wearing the cap , to confuse Fev fans when we play em .

What a good call fella !

I was probably being generous allowing Dews the 10 points though , and still think we should have have about 12 more points .

How and why did we miss Reynolds? What does he bring to the team....nothing.

Ben is a great player gives 100 per cent every game doesn’t deserve all the negative stuff
We support the team and if he was as bad as lots think way would he keep getting in the team ?
We have a players who can play 6 all season as well as Ben but for the knock h took at HKR he would have played Monday

Leigh fans will never be happy until we find the next John Woods. Josh Drinkwater received vitriol on the pages of this forum, and they talk about him on Sky Sports as one of the Top half backs in the Super League.

I have always supported Ben Reynolds, but I can see that that the halves are struggling when Mellor is off-colour. Perhaps it is not that Ben is good enough, it is down to a lack of options. Hingano looked better as a half than a hooker, but I think I might have had a good game against Dewsbury. Competition will hopefully bring out the best in Ben, and Inu has now taken away some of the responsibility for kicking away from him.

A good effort from Dewsbury with shrewd kicking from Paul Sykes. Excellent go forward from Sidlow and Amone with a strong overall defensive effort keeping Dewsbury in their own half. Asiata is a class act as are MacDonald and Stone. The whole squad showed admirable desire and effort. There is a formidable spirit evident throughout and points difference could be important. I can see us beating Fev at home and the Summer Bash could be close.

I don’t doubt Reynolds gives 100% and I’m sure the majority would agree, but … he is very predictable in his plays , maybe that’s the way the game has changed with structured plays and playing to a pattern.
Many times we saw it in super league especially , where by the opposition knew exactly what he was going to do as it was so telegraphed.
Not knocking him just saying it as I see it

Very true , although nothing this season has made me change my mind, time will tell as the season goes on.
Not sure what our head honcho Chester makes off him, wakey where very quick to ship him out

I would say Lam carries the instruction to Reynolds not Chester. The lad has been carrying a knock and time will tell.

Not sure about your Wakey comment..
