The St Helens Reporter and Serious About RL are reporting that Tomkins has stated that he is committed to join us for 2022, regardless of us being in the Championship. He said he had an option to stay at Catalan but he is committed to Leigh and was not going to pull out of the contract.
Positive sign for sure.

Not sure when he actually signed for Leigh but he must have known then that you were odds on to go down anyway surely ?

Exactly Atomic , I think Joel is a quality signing , and I also think Derek knows who we have already signed for next season , he has already stated we are staying full time , so I’m expecting some decent signings being announced very soon .
