So Bell gone the player drain continues. When will it stop? Do we have any recruitment plans for 2022. We have known we are relegated for weeks the model to bounce back is keep the team together as much as possible! Appreciate the players will take SL contracts but no comms about if we offered them contracts or more retentions. Are the Aussies staying what about Junior Sau, Hellewell, Ellis, Thompson, Ioane.. etc!

Personally Leyther , I would let all the above you mention go , along with Flower , Wallace , McCarthey,even Spencer , we must have a clear out to move forward , apparently Mason , Wildie , Thorniley ,Brierley,Gee,have already signed for other Clubs and. Rand is only on loan .

Not like you to talk sense Charles young man. It was a team to win the championship with some mid season additions. I would have tried to keep Bell and Ioane who were tough and honest, but we have 5 quota spots so I feel we will be looking at Stand off, Centre and prop positions

Can’t disagree with this but starting from scratch doesn’t normally equate to a top finish in champ as you can’t afford to loose to many games. Suppose it is where we are at. Be good to see some communications about recruitment as feels like time is ticking for next seasons already.

Thank you Mo ,must be the Owl soup I’ve been having for Breakfast .I just think we must put aside sentiment make a few harsh decisions , and say farewell to a lot of the squad , in clouding the Coach , and maybe some Coaching Staff.
Next season will again be difficult , either Toulouse or Fev will again challenge , and we must be ready to spend a few quid , I’m not sure if Marwan is joining us , but Derek is a must to Stay , let’s get behind the Club ,and go for gold .

I think when the season ends some announcements will be made , as to who we let go and who we keep , I also hope Derek decides against this Law suit , and concentrates on employing an experienced man who will appoint his own coaching staff and sign players he wants , as you say someClubs are already signing players , I think we will as well .

We as fans of Leigh Centurions should be used to the mushroom syndrom of being kept in the dark and being fed poop, am I becoming disillusioned with the lack of any clarity eminating from the club of what the intentions are of player recriutment in either scenario of either being in SL or the Championship next term, you can bet your life on it that I am, will the recruitment be subject to what is affordable with either SL or Championship funding plus what the directors can afford of course it is, will the situation be vastly improved should Dr Koukash join us, yes immensely improved, why isn't Mr Beaumont telling us the situation with Dr Koukash we Derek's loyal fan base as he likes to describe us need to know what is going on, this is an opportunity for the Leigh Club to have a financial clout that we have not experienced in 126 years, if it is turned down I will want to see a full logical explanation of the reasoning why, if I am not happy with it I just may decide to complain with my absence in future.

Once again Harry , you provide the voice of reasoning ,and I intend to agree with you , it’s no secret I’m a Derek fan , but I really think the fans should be informed sooner rather than later , maybe the Club is waiting till the end of the season , before announcing their plans .
I’m as excited as most with the news Marwan is interested in coming on board , as you say Leigh have never been in a position of possible strength financially and hopefully we could put down roots that would grow in years to come .
Again I agree with your point about complaining with your absence ,let’s hope common sense will prevail and we can sort things out , it does need to be done soon .

How did we get into this position? And what is going to be done about it? Very poor communication to the fans about what is going on. It is time to get fans onside with solid information about the plans ahead to achieve the stated objective of a sustainable Superleague club. We also need an update on Marwan’s plans.
