The only good thing about his kicking game was at goal. Out of hand just as bad as Wallace was last week, although a good tackler.Hopefully just a stopgap until Ellis returns.

Should never have left really.

Two good reasons for his signing.

1 - He can cover half back and has a decent kicking game
2 - He is probably a better Full Back, therefore play Brierley there, and play either Wallace 6 , 1 or whatever, because Wallace surly will not play that poorly again!

Good morning Derek ,I’m well , hope you are , my Fantasyteams are doing ok , I’ve put 3 in the same as yourself , and joined Evvos prediction league , today will be very difficult , Warry will be hurting as we are after last week , I just feel they will be to strong for us , obviously I hope I’m wrong .

I’m going for a Warrington win by 12 , I really think we will survive though , once we get all troops back on board , the 2 Aussies , Flower , Bell, Ellis ,Sau and company , I watched the Wigan game 3 times now , we lose every time by 2 , BUT I was impressed by Mellor , playing when not fit , it’s obvious to see now , when he tries to pick up the loose ball he looks like he’s running through gravy ,in diving boots , again when fit he will be a good signing .Anyway the challenge is on in the Fantasy Comp .See ya soon .

Warrington are a very good team , today we seemed to be a little apprehensive in both attack and defence , I still think we will survive ,once we get a fully fit squad on the pitch , I still think a couple of our players are only Championship players , Widdop came from behind Wildie to score his first try , I can’t see Wildie being in the 17 when Peats is playing , it’s the same for Spencer , though loaned to Swinton. , Derek and Duffs know the score , Duffs won’t dodge any bullets I’m sure of this , get Ellis ,Mellor , Wallace , Brierley , and Reynolds all on the park and it will be different .

HKR , Wakey , Hudds , and Catts must be our targets , plus win a couple of games against higher teams , its no use saying we are only 2 games in though , because that will turn to 3 , then 4 , then 5 , that was Abram and Jukesys philosophy .

The lads didn’t give up , hopefully the new boys from Auss and Flower and Bell , returning will make a difference , I don’t think McCarthy is the answer either, time will tell .Onwards to the Cup .
