Exactly what is it that makes me an undercover spy for another Super League side? The first Leigh Team, that I ever saw featured Des Drummond, John Woods et al.

I am 3rd generation Leigh supporter, but I will not use terms like Leyther, it does not make any less of a supporter of "the Comics".

In my opinion they should bring back the old music when the teams come out, and the shirts should be a narrow Cherry and White, not a replica of the Wigan shirt that we have chosen for this season.

I will take any test of my knowledge from the last 50 years, and look forward to Leigh bringing the Challenge Cup home for it's 50 year return.

what's wrong with that ? Ive watched leigh since 1981 ! I just dont come on the RL forums very much these days .

Nut come on be honest with yourselves , if this was York who got the nod you would be asking similar questions , I am just being consistent , we have had the shaft many many times before but two wrongs don't make a right.

Some good choices there Septimius and this is a good time of year for the old chestnut that is a list of favourite former players.
Personally i'd have a few more from the Championship winning side of 1981/82. There were obviously some great players in that team. You don't win the League without a good pack and amongst several deserving cases i would have at prop, Derek 'sleight of hand' Pyke, possibly at the expense of rugby league legend Fui Fui. After all Pykey did it for us whilst Fui Fui achieved it all whilst plying his trade down under.
I would also include 'The Prince of Centres' Steve Donlan. For my money you cannot include the legends that are Woods and Drummond without the man who was the very classy glue in that backline. Drummond was great to watch but he looked even better because of the quality of his centres who regularly put him in to space and boy did he use it. Donlan has to be in for me in place of Ben Crooks.
Honourable mention to Terry Bilsbury.
Perhaps contentiously given the way he departed the club i would still have Paul Rowley at hooker. He might have upset DB but he was one hell of a good player for us in his day.

Haven't come back for a glot as im a Leigh fan , but do you still think it was a good idea to accept that 12th spot , forget money and think of it from a fans pov . If we had full crowds i think we would be back to the 1200-2500 home supporters .

Do you think we are capable of winning a game ? Personally i think we might snatch one or two.

Also legit question as ive kind of lost interest in RL and everything else in the last few years , how many go down ?
