I did see that on Twitter and it is mentioned in late September on a couple of media smaller online outlets at the same time. He has also stated that he is keen to play at least one more year. With his current form and positive standing at Salford though, I would be a little surprised if he was not retained by them.

However I have to say with the upmost respect, I have never properly understood this Leigh obsession with the lad. He is definitely not a 7 , that is not even up for debate, and he possesses quite a few other frailties to be effective elsewhere in my opinion.
