The club statement is short and to the point - gone. No reason and that for good reason. Yes we all know of his past troubles but surely it all should remain sub judis. The club want it that way. I think this is the squad to date. I have tried to group players according to their likely playing position, but I guess Brierley & Wallace could also play full back or wing if required.

At the moment I don't think we have a proven super league quality full back and only one specialist winger.

The squad looks solid but is probably missing a bit of real quality that is needed in super league - maybe 2 or 3 decent signings will give us that !
