IMO the best fan songs seem to be the ones that are just the ‘original’ song that everyone knows, sung with passion.



And it doesn’t come any better than Stoke fans singing Delilah. What the hell has it got to do with them? I don’t know but go on you tube, and see how good it is.



I firmly feel if we had an ‘anthem’ then the odd song with a bit of swearing wouldn't get the criticism it currently does.



The key to it is finding the song, maybe if we all just listed the songs that for no specific reason you just seem to join in, then maybe we’ll come up with something.

Apparently, it started years ago, when 1 guy on his own used to sing it very load in one of the stands. At first no one took him on and it was a bit of a joke. But then it caught on.

About delilah, try having 34,000 stoke fans singing it and bolton just silent, hairs on the back of your neck stand up.
