After over 8 years of involvement with the messageboard team , and managing them for the last few seasons , reluctantly I have had to step down as manager. Not an easy decision but a fair one and one that the team can now move on and benefit from. Some people may say good riddance and to those ignorant so and so's they might want to try doing what I did for the last 8 years . Some great results , some good laughs and a lot of good mates. Best memories finishing 2nd in the league last season and winning the Grand Final , and watching the team play in one of the last ever games at Hilton Park .

A combination of my Dad passing away late last year , new job with extra hours and my own business to run has meant that I haven't had the well needed time to organise things like a manager should . So felt it only fair to let the guys who have been organising things take the helm of the Leythers MB ship .

Step forward Simon Reynolds , Paul Wilcock and Big Al , these guys deserve all the credit for the last 2 wins and keeping the team together during the off season. All the players in the team are a credit to the Leythers MB and I wish them well with the rest of the season and hope to see a few games and support them.

A sad day for the team I presume, a top bloke that has done a great job with the team. I for one am proud to call Big Gaz friend.

Thanks to Paul and Keith , was a really hard decision but 1 that was needed . Like those founder members who have gone before me , its been a hell of a ride , its been emotional and to go out on a high , well who could ask for more .

Si had organised the game Keith , I only found out late where the game was being played
