Saying he's only played 60 minutes of Rugby over here 'in this league' then please forgive me if I see a little more of him before saying 'the best in this league by a country mile'.

As for not paying enough money out maybe if the public of Leigh backed Arthur then we could sign such players

Indeed. He's had a handful of games in the NRL, looked lively in the RL World Cup and played most of one fixture over here ... not quite player of the year material, yet.

No I think you will find it was the other board members who were 'stumping up more', the 'income' hasn't tallied with the money spent for a long long time. Its been said that we need over 2200 per game just to draw even this season and we aint getting anywhere near that.
