IF I was in charge of LSV...... : Thu Mar 26, 2009 6:13 pm
I would make the end space after the shop, a supporter bar, pictures up of players etc with tables and chairs outside(weatherpermitting keep the smokers happy ). Have a barbi going in summer maybe? Or get a pig roast going lol. Happy hours before and after the game, Have hot food served before the games at a reasonable cost.
Players in bar after match from 6pm to 6.30pm to sign autograths and do a supporters player of the match presentation.
Then Id have one of the empty boxes turned into a creche for the young ones, so their parents can watcth the game in peace, charge a small fee, but give them a drink and a hot dog, results young uns happy, Dads happy.
Have meal deals available from caterers inside the ground ie pie and a pint £5. Happy hour too maybe, try and entice people in earlier.
How about a brass marching band?
Kids festival at Harriers or East and all the kids and their families taking part given free tickets in the East stand, do this once every 2 monthes. Hubbys idea.
Other week invite all the girl guides, scout, brownies, then a different group of organistations the next time , into same stand foc. Hubbys idea.
Put free coaches on for away fans buying tickets from our ticket office, so enough come to be able to open away stand. Hubbies idea again.
Have fundays on bank holidays, involve players in activities. Get people coming to visit who wouldnt normally.
Sack the daft mascot bring back Parky Pig and have a Parky Pig fan club, kids can join and get a chance to meet the players after the games. Parky escorts them there.
Have a discount for say any SL ticket holders, really cheap so as when Saints/Wigan play Friday(which they do mostly) some of their fans may come and watch.
Have a bring someone new offer day for a fiver.
Just ideas, anyone else have any, as the place is soul less and it needs to have 3000 to 4000 on to get an atmostphere I reckon.
