That young lad is in the same mould of a player as Gareth Hock, without the bad side. He's better than Chris Hill and that is a very high compliment. I wish him the best of luck.

However, it doesn't bode well for the future of Leigh RLFC, although I doubt anymore young players will be following him because they can't get the game time due to the influx of Wiggin Reserves.

I hope this new BOM will be enticing someone with a lot of money to turn the clubs fortunes around soon or I fear the worse for Leigh RLFC especially with Leigh East being forced out of the LSV.

WIYSIWYG , i WILL be drooling about seeing Sam Hopkins on Sunday in a Leigh shirt , will you be there ?As for the BOM , their job is hard enough , come along and support the team ,but don't Bleat "I told you So ", when its to late , start by showing the BOM you care , another maybe 100-200 missing fans on Sunday turning up would do the club a Power of Good .
And don't worry there will be plenty of young Leythers coming through the Ranks in years to come , providing we support the team , remember ,NO SUPPORT means NO TEAM , and that is not what anybody wants .

As for the Tribal thing , i Suffer more than most at Family get togethers its all friendly Banter though , a few Leythers know my Brothers -in -Law and know how Boisterous they can be .

You intimated LISA will have a different roll going forward as if you something the rest of us don't.

LISA will operate as they always have done and attend BOD meetings etc nothing has changed I'm sure Linda will support me on this.

No we will still continue to pay players contract in fact Im having talks me and Keith over how we can do this better and improve what we provide, in exchange for their help in getting more members by exactly supporting LISA and it's aims.
THe new board are still setting everything in place but once it's all sorted we will be meeting up to have a chat over all things.
I can promise LISA money is spent for what it is intended.

Lynda , most of us know what a great job LISA does , as does both yourself and Keith , carry on the good work , with more trying to steer Leigh Centurions in the right direction our Great club , will grow and prosper .

Why don't everyone who watches join up and let's see us be successful hardcore support at 1200 adults at £5 a month £82k a year, add to this approximate £30k app from the touchdown club, the income the club gets from sponsers and match days and we would be financially safe

Well, you have said lisa could play a massive part of a new set up,sorry for miss interpreting what you meant.

Also lisa was promised a seat on the board for £20k a year and shares wasn't it?,was that nonsense or has that idea been scrapped now

I hate this DR system as much as anyone. It also massively devalues the league.

But as a passionate and proud Leyther, it would never result in me turning my back on my club I have watched all my life. That's just me...

Who has ever said that and when have LISA ever ran the club??

LISA are a massive part of Leigh Centurions family and fundamental to the club and its future growth although independent, one of my first duties having got involved was to attend the LISA AGM as I have nothing but respect for people who support this great club no matter what like the members do.

Keith and Linda have pledged support to me and I have pledged support to them it's a mutual respect and everyone else I have met are fantastic people Leigh Centurions through and through. My aim as someone who is passiontate about the community at the club is to help them grow not just to go cap in hand them for money.

I've no knowledge of promises of shares etc but I can promise honest answers to questions and I have stated to LISA they will be welcome to BOD meetings as usual going forward.

Let's not look for problems and dirt that doesn't exist eh.
