Thats a good point. Untill I was shown I wouldnt have known where it was and it does look like an office. Very uninviting. An exteroior part to the Bar on the pavement would look good. It wouldn't take up too much room on the pavement. If there are empty rooms at the other side of the ticket office put a coffee shop in there with an outside terrace. I have to say Keith if they have been reading this and seen how popular the Easts club is and have done nothing about it. They should be picking up their P45's. Or is it that they too have to pass a ridiculous amount of paperwork in to alter things?
Two things that I would like too see as a start in an announcer that can get the crowd going. Also get our masscot to be as entertaining as Parky Pig was. He gave the crowd a real feel good factor.
I remember going to the willows last year and Steve Simms was in the bar addressing the fans telling them what was happening at the club who was in and out. Maybe this could happen when we get our M Martyn Bar back. A little bit of razamataz when the team come on the field too. We had some good singers at half time at HP. Get some back. When we went to the night match at Halifax last year they had fire eaters and a singer on at HT.
I know it costs but we need some of these things back.

Even a CO2 confetti cannon which fires red and white ticker tape costs as little as £40. We had some good singers at half time at HP. Get some back. Maybe what needs to be done is a dossier of all the faults etc to be forwarded to the Lsv this is only the first season and errors and mistakes on proceedings will happen no good complaining on here it does not get listened to.

I don't know why LSV wouldn't listen to the excellent feedback on here. It would be in their interests as it has, mostly, been constructive and useful.

Absolutely. The majority of the idea's if implemented correctly will actually help to enhance Leigh Centurions, LSV's and the catering company's revenue streams

If I was in the frame for the commercial managers job, I'd be on here poaching ideas!!

'Look Mr.Thomas/Mr.Rowley, I've only been here a week and I've got a hundred ideas on how to get more fans in! Aren't I clever!'

Digressing slightly... IMO, the key to that role is an open dialogue with the fans. That could be as simple as a suggestion box in the club shop, and a 'weekly news' update on the website

Joking aside, the new employee, whomever it may be, could do no worse than to get on here to get a feel as to where the fans think the club are doing well/going wrong.

Getting news out of LC is like trying to platt tripe, when they are reminded it comes out thick and fast if no reminding no news TBH ive given up, what they need is a media/press officer as a paid post if even its only part time it needs someone bending their ear every other day.

And in these cash strapped times who's paying for this?

well talking of new stadiums, my experience on the keepmoat today was very good, parked right in front of the stadium as i have a blue badge, the steward was very polite and showed us where to park, and we went into the bar a the front of the stadium, and i was amazed, i did not have to hand over any money to get in, i do not apologies for the sarcasm, i have been before and knew you didn;t have to pay, but you get my point, there was plenty of us leythers in having a drink and a civilised chat prior to the game, i wonder if toone and the rest of the lsv have taken any notice from other new grounds and how to opoerate.
