Some born and Bred cockneys, Welsh, and Irish etc where refused a victory parade earlier this year in Manchester for Utd .......because of what happened a few weeks earlier by Rangers fans. Cost council and tax payer a fortune, so wouldn't do it again. BNP have history - It would cost us money (tax payers) to prevent trouble happening. Whatever your views on them, they have a stigma attached to them that incites hatred and anger (that can lead to violence).

agree with you but what angers me is that the luton muslim demonstrators were breaking the incitement laws by the slogans that were on their banners.
they should not have been allowed to demonstrate in that fashion.
marches and demonstrations are an essentail ingrediant of any democracy as long as they are lawful
The fact is, its a global economy now...and its brutal because there is always someone, somewhere prepared to under cut you, as well as it being enriching (in both senses) There are winners and losers, most folks work hard and a few take the p***. You either embrace it and prosper, or you don't and end up marginalised and unable to compete.
All this "Leigh jobs for Leigh people" or wherever you happen to be from is just BS.
I'll tell you what pressure is. "Grand final, only seconds to go, and a field goal attempt with a split testicle and your shoes on the wrong feet."

Isn't it British job agencies that bring Polish workers in for example. Some even rent out property to these people, so they get double income. The British companies employ them, the British agencies supply them, the British consumer buys their goods because they are cheaper. You get what you pay for, someone that can't speak English, has no money, home, or experience in this country....as jimmy Carr (the comedian) says about people that can't compete with them, "How stupid are you?" tongue in cheek joke but there is some truth in it. As pointed out further back with amount of cheap labour in holiday resorts in Europe taken up by Brits taking local jobs. We can't have it both ways. Asylum seekers are part and parcel of todays world because of how much trouble (wars and tyranny) and poverty is around the world. We as a wealthy nation have an obligation (just like rest of western nations) to provide safe haven for genuine people that suffer. Problem is trying to sieve through to find genuine ones. BNP simplify things without any meat on the bones. What do you do with someone that is in this country and has no paperwork, and his/her country won't take them back ? It costs a fortune to keep a criminal in jail. So how does BNP sieve through genuine asylum seekers and keep costs down. You have to keep tabs on them - costs money. You have to provide for them or they will steal to live - costs money.
ps mutt, please provide a link for the Aussies that was going to sink a boat full of unarmed innocent people. I just can't see that. Can you ?
After a quick look on the net it appears there was a boat that sunk 2001 with 350 asylum seekers onboard, it happend duing the big crackdown on illigal imigrants and since it has been claimed that the australian navy were responseble for the sinking.
I've lived and work in germany. I've lived and worked in the USA. At my last company we had... several Chinese, a Vietnamese, a New Zealander, several Indians, a Turkish, a Sri Lankan, a Korean, an Ethiopian, a South African, a Nigerian, one feller moved to Australia and worked for us from there, the one MD was a Greek, the CEO was born in Bermuda, at least 2 Swedes, and a couple of French blokes...oh, and we had a few Brits too.

I have no problem with anybody of any creed or colour if they get there booty out of bed and go to work, pay the tax and NI like the rest of us and are genuine.
But it really galls me when you see some of this lot draw £600 a week from the Post office in benefits and walk straight in to the nearest bookmakers and shove it all in the machines, then go out on the rob all week cos they have got no brass, Perhaps do a spot of fishing and remove several hundreds of pounds worth of expensive course fish for their dinner table or as happened last week, not answer when the baliffs turn up and then get all their mates to strip the house bare that they are renting and move all the gear into one of the neighbours who just happen to be part of the clan and sell anything else they managed to get out for whatever they can get for it.
Best bit is........................they all stroll around in designer gear!!
Of course some do, just like true Brits do. Just like true Brits, there are also mostly genuine people who want to make a go of it and are contributing.
Pointing out problems is great - its offering solutions that is hardest part. BNP don't do that. They tell you what some people want to hear, and it strikes a chord with ones that are suffering from current economic climate. People seem to need something/someone to blame - its human nature. BNP provide this and gain support from it - even given their background.
Tesco build a big supermarket in the town and in this wonderful multinational multicultural utopia in which we apparently live, decide to employ 500 migrants rather than folk from the local population.
Anyone who thinks that is acceptable needs to have a proper good look at themselves.

Now this is exactly the type of story the BNP put on their leaflets.
I haven,t noticed anything like that however in any Supermarket I have ever shopped in.
In honesty Frank it was meant as a response to the thought that 'Leigh jobs for Leigh people' was nonsense.
However, you go into many factories and building sites up and down the country, and it is what you will see and nobody should make any apologies for pointing it out, nomatter how politically sensitive it may be.
Serious sport has nothing to do with fair play. It is bound up with hatred, jealousy, boastfulness, disregard of all rules and sadistic pleasure in witnessing violence. In other words, it is war minus the shooting. George Orwell
There are none so blind as those who will not see.
This is where the BNP (NF) are getting their foot in the door, they are playing up to everyone's frustration at the amount of freeloaders we have living in this country. Neither this country nor any other country will ever go back to 'jobs for the natives', the world has moved on, travel has become easier and there will always be a number of immigrants in any country in the world.
I believe that any 'foreigner' should be allowed to live here as long as they earn their keep, pay their taxes and obey the laws - and anyone else should be kicked out - simple!
I just wish that one of the major parties would wake up and smell the coffee and realise that the people of Britain are at breaking point over the immimgration issue, by not doing so they are playing straight into the hands of the BNP!
