Offers on individual ' low interest ' matches is not the way forward
What is required is for our new ' community ' stadium management or the club to find a sponsor for the east stand to become the ' community stand '
They need to find enough funding to have the stand open for every match with costs covered
Then work out a way to get as many people from the borough into it without upsetting the fans willing to pay to see the team play
Once again communication is the key to this
I agree but it’s going to be difficult to find a major sponsor and for that reason it perhaps needs considering doing it in smaller sections (100/200 seats?) perhaps each school could be given its own section and could raise the funding? I know they have their own issues, and under 11’s go free so the sponsorship may only be necessary for accompanying adults.
