Well Jukes is in charge so that's that. I suggest we back him 100% and see how he goes this season. Just because we got relegated does not make him a bad coach in any way . The injuries last season where crippling and the players who stepped in under achieved so now they are going. Re: Greg McNally, unless I've missed it where is the link?

I agree Marky, but he as to be more savvy in his decisions whenever he has to make them.

Looking at our recruitment so far, would it be fair to say that, although he didn't get it right at times last season, that the resources will be different next year, so he deserves a chance to prove that he as got what it takes to be a successful coach?

With you, Cokey.

Bongser stayed away from the board for a few days as the (then) dearth of players cemented in for next season was getting the old boy down. Very much buoyed though after catching up over the course of the afternoon.

MacNally news does sadden but Sloppy Hoppy made his own bed (or probably didn't). But always sad to see long time servants go and wish them all the best for the next stage.

Onwards.

It would be nice if 10% of the towns population COULD buy a season ticket to support our great rugby league club. That would be at least about 4,300 supporters backing our great club. My message to all Leythers is, Let's do it and show Derek and his gang we are right behind him.

Wow! Prices not just sales?

You are a tease, Mo. Really good to be kept on tenterhooks by both you and HRJ again - now that Bongser knows that the whole world hasn't crashed down around his ears.

Well as far as KC is concerned he can't possibly know how good McNally is because he hasn't seen him enough!
The best individual try last season was Gregg's effort against top four Salford, pure class ! it was much better than Hardakers 'run' against Leeds. Nobody gives a better long pass at Leigh than Gregg and, he always gets it away.
I've not seen Owens a lot but, I know he's nowhere near as classy as McNally! I wouldn't keep Brown either, he is very poor at centre and worse at fullback! The four away games he played consecutively at the back end of the season he was diabolical, particularly at Wire and Huddersfield!
Very very poor decision to release Gregg and I personally am disappointed if true, sadly, the coaching staff at Leigh obviously cant see the ability Gregg has and I'm disappointed I never got to see him at scrum half or, stand off!
To answer your opinion on him being SL class, he was getting stronger by the match and, it was a baffling decision to see him dropped for the last two games unfortunately, the last two seasons had seen him obtain serious injuries and he was only just getting back to his best! I will miss watching him play, good luck Gregg and thanks for giving us loyal service and superb entertainment!

Well Browns NRL record suggests he is more than capable, his biggest downfall for me is his versitility across the back line. Put him in a settled position and he should get a spot - although we do appear to be signing top notch non-quota players at the moment

Agree with your comments about McNally - would have liked to see him in a Leigh shirt next season
