Something is happening, I suppose time will tell what it is, either Derek is lowering the wage bill ready to step aside at the end of the year or we have signed/resigned players and kept it quiet.

The amount of players missing off the “off contract” list is starting to coincide with the players being linked with other clubs on social media so it looks like an accurate assumption that we are letting our better players go.

The silence is deafening, it seems we have given up.

Realism , is a good word after last nights Salford result , it now means we MUST win at least 2 and Salford lose all their games , to avoid bottom place , between now and seasons end we will a game , I’m sure of that , but I’m sure Salford will as well.

The deafening silence from Derek and the Club , the loaning out of players ,things do seem inevitable ,are the Club getting the white flag out ?Hopefully not , but I’m not optimistic .A win this afternoon will do us a power of good , but Hull are coming to spoil our party .

I think about it you have make your own luck and not worry about others
it’s out of our control
The club needs the fans to get behind them and remember we’re in this together

Its no surprise if Derek throws the towel in is it?. Has previous for quitting dont he? Didn't he do this in 2018?

No he didn’t - in fact he worked his knads off to save the club after a talented squad let him down

Whatever happens , and something must happen fast , we need Derek to lead us , and sort out this mess , the blame for me lies with the players themselves , obviously not all of them , but some seem they can’t be arsed about Leigh , we don’t need these people .
Yeah JD was on a hiding to nothing , I don’t blame him , you can’t rewire a house with a knife and fork , I’m amazed at the attitude of the missing players , we need to get shut and maybe start a fresh , not easy , but I think it’s to late to rescue this season .

Why do you think the person who got the club into the present mess is the person to get the club out of it?

Keith ,I realise Derek has made mistakes as well , I’m sure he will admit it , but if the players won’t play for whatever reason Derek cannot help that , Duffy was a Coach out of his depth , Derek kept faith in him because Derek is a loyal bloke , he proved that by keeping Abram and Jukes on to long .

The signing of a lot of players who were mainly Championship players couldn’t be helped , then we added blokes like McCarthey who would be playing for Swinton or Oldham now if we didn’t sign him .You ask why I think Derekis the man to get us out of the mess .?Well I can’t see anyone with the Financial clout he has , and he must learn to get rid of the old Leigh boys Club , and start afresh , it won’t be easy , but he has a good group of fans behind the Club , and some good Sponsers .
