All of the speculations and very well most probably comments of substance that have been aired in the past 3 pages have to have a source of instigation or even a place to rest the blame. What could very well have been the saviour of Leigh RLFC a few seasons ago could well be its undoing in something yet to be mentioned, indeed some people may be reticent or even afraid to bring the name Derek Beaumont into the discussion, but as they say the Buck stops at the top, has he interfered to much, could he have come down with a more forceful attitude to the obvious trouble makers (I don't know who they are) but must exist with some of the comments reported on these pages, or has he set the wrong example which his charges are following. Why has DB insisted all along and unequivocally Jukes is the best man for the job, when a vast number of other people see flaws in his leadership? Who is responsible for the signings who are clearly not up to the job in hand, why after a number of seasons of success has he suddenly relinquished his Director of Rugby mantle when the going has got difficult, perhaps the only person that can seriously answer these questions is the man that DB sees in the mirror. I want a strong Owner, one who appoints the right people, someone who has mastered the art of delegation, and someone who leads by example, all the exampls of unrest I am reading in these pages shouts loudly to me that the man at the top does not and has not got the respect his employees. He should be going through the club with a fine tooth comb and get it back on track.
What is DB's target this season? If that target is met then, who is right? If the target is met, then how can you sack the coaching staff, whose met their targets?
All this talk of unrest is indeed unsettling however, I shall be at warrington on Saturday and I would urge all our great fans to be there too! Remember, players,Coaches and Officials come and go they always have however, the club has always survived, JUST! Shall we say the more 'Mature' fans will have experienced the highs and lows many times before, its part of being a Leyther Survival is going to be tough, I never expected any different although, we have seen some outstanding performances from this squad this season and if they are prepared to battle together there is no reason to think we can't do the necessary to stay in SL!
Before the Qualifiers I told my Widnes supporting Son no SL team would lose to a Championship team in the comp! well, we certainly made a mess of that Remember we didnt play well against Rovers yet they were 'hanging on' at the end! The fixture computer has been kind to KR, they have accumalated 8 points by playing all three of their Championship rivals and, only one SL team us who, were only promoted last year and are the least experienced SL team!! Rovers now, will have to show us if they have the ability to win points against three established SL clubs? (To Rovers fans, i'm not having a go at your club, Im just relating the facts as they stand!)

You're right with the last paragraph, we (Hull KR) haven't really played overly well, all of this play off comp, yet we still sit there on 8 points out of 8. Before it started I thought we'd be on 6 by now and realistically looking at a MPG. Now we're looking at probably needing one win out of 3 to get promoted without the MPG (thats if your lot do us a favour and roll over at wire).
What we seem to have is an ability and a resilience to win a game, regardless of how we're playing. Just hope we can now get over the line, even if its the ugliest of wins I'd take it.

We did it by beating our three Championship rivals and three SL teams. I would think that one more win against a SL team should do it for you.

The target for this season is to keep our SL status, which is still on track even if it's via the MPG.
What is worrying, is the alleged behind the scenes issues that have surfaced over the last few pages of this topic regarding players and coaching staff. You can probably discount a fair bit of it as gossip and rumour mill shenanigans. However, something certainly seems not right.
I hope things are ironed out and Saturdays performance is learned from and onto 3 wins out of 3 from the remaining fixtures.

Correct Roy. I couldn't care less who spat the dummy, sort it for Wire is all I ask.
How many times this season has there been :reports : of players having disputes with coaches or trainers .Its obvious that major trouble is going on behind the scenes
I have heard this scores of times this season from all sorts of people who attend matches both home and away. I am sick and tired of it,and it wants sorting NOW. p.s "Too many Cooks spoil the Lobby".
Never thought I'd say this but I do feel for Leigh this year, you always seems to be on the wrong end of a rule shift and you've done better this year than we did in our first year back in SL - but we knew there was no relegation for us.
You've also got an inexperienced coach who was inexperienced in the Championship let alone SL, and you've had some bad injuries this year that hasn't helped.
I think the result at the weekend see's us in the top 3, as a win over London and our superior points difference should see us home, but hoping for a decent result at Hull KR on Saturday, somewhere we have struggled of late.
I'd be surprised if you have the same coach next year but you've got a local businessman who wants to make Leigh successful, so if DB sticks around I think things will come good for you. He's certainly putting his hand in his pocket more than the Widnes board has.
MPG against Catalans it seems though, you've got to take heart that you won there the other week, not many teams do that. We've never won there. (Have drawn though).
