Steven, you are comparing Sheffield ( a large City ) with Leigh, the potential sponsorship and corporate support in Sheffield is massive in comparison

Sheffield used to get some help funding development in the area, think 4 or more players were employed this way

But how many people in Sheffield have even heard of rugby league? Not exactly got the heritage that Leigh has.

Only if fans come back through the turnstile to offset the corporate imbalance, as a breed we spend a lot of time wanting to explain why we stop attending then wonder why we are in a financial mess or have to sell or can't compete with a Sheffield
Here's one solution, give LISA £15 a month whilst not attending so that the club has a chance of becoming what you want it to be so you attend once more
If the 700 stay always did that the club would have far more options
Out of interest how many Sheffield lads are in the 17 or have come through their system?
Our future is in our hands, I am hopeful we have turned a corner and grow again

National Cup day should be a pinnacle day in the RL calender. Sums everything up at the moment though with players having choose a tour or a BARLA final and a full round of fixtures.

Same for the junior sides on the Sunday. Get all ages groups involved supporting the clubs at the finals.

Interestingly, Hopkins featured for East 18s in their last National Cup final, opposite Nicholson and Pownall from Leigh Miners. I wonder if Leigh will pick up any of this years crop.

I dont know if he was or not but when you think fev got a reported £60k+ for Hardaker it really does make one 'a bit angry that the club sold itself short.

A house is worth what somebody will pay for it, if its about to be repossessed it will generally go for less
I was told wire paid £30k and his salary to leaving which was another £10k- but who knows
