Changing the coach would achieve zero IMO.
Facts are we are a club that is unable or unwilling to spend money.
I suspect its being run as well as the current people in charge can do it (and i'm no fan of AT etc) and is there a real need to invest in a league that has lost its identity this season
.
We have a young(ish) squad that is NOT and was NEVER going to finish in the top 4, we have however slipped in certain games regarding effort /concentration.
Concentration is understandable, effort is unforgivable, tiredness does play a part though with some pretty dire fixture planning for a part time club.
For me this season I want Leigh to compete with Doncaster, Batley, Whitehaven, Sheffield & Gateshead (pre Gateshead imploding i'd have settled for the others), I hope Leigh could finish top of this smaller financed group.
Playing and competeing against the full timers and big spenders is off the menu for a while.....maybe a long while
Getting rid of another coach would be a bad move.
Sorting the club out off the field to maximise opportunitys to bring in finance and realise what potential there is in the town/area is a must for those currently running the club.
