hello all well am quoting direct from conversations with players on friday night...so sorry if facts wrong about full time and training....but surely if thats the case it makes us look even worse then
As for the training on LSV thats a definate and that is shocking !!!!

the lads train mon night, wed night and fri night 6pm till 7.30 but some go in early to do extras and satarday morning for an hour. but during april it has changed to tuesday and thursday nights and sunday mornings.
Some of the players do extras themselves, ive seen hilly and stewart at bodyimage training three or four times a week before they train with the rest of the team

Your field and goal kickers have to practice on the l.s.v how else can they judge the distances etc that is a must.If not it will just be like playing away.

Well you see, this £500k pitch we've got can only be used 42 times a season; thats less than once a week or it will turn into soup.

So whilst they'll whore it out to anyone who wants to pay they won't let us practice our kicking unless the kicking tee leaves big divots in the pitch.

For 500k it should be a lot tougher than soup , got to agree though it seems a case of if The Price is Right then please feel free to use the pitch Absolutley stinks IMO

To be fair, it will still be in its 'maintenance period' and will still be maturing, so if it gets hammered in the first year and doesn't hold up, who pays for it to be redone?

But if there is more than 30 games played on it in the first year I will be very suprised so a few hours kicking practice and a few drills every other Saturday morning wont exactly hurt (provided Genesis are not playing obvioulsy).
