I wonder what the problem is with Gleeson that clubs have no objection to him leaving.One would think that SL outfits should fight tooth & nail to keep "the best centre" in England,yet there goes Gleeson again without a whisper of complaint from the Wire.Smith (Tony) has weeded him out very quickly & it makes the Watcher wonder what bad habits and/or disruptive influences this man has apart from gambling.

Well, one problem is what he costs - and W***n's offer is too good to refuse, as Gleeson will be out of contract at the end of the season, and could then go for nowt! (Same as Saints couldn't believe their luck, when Wire offered £250k for the same player)

Also, haven't Warrington got a large, unexpected tax bill looming ('six figures') and they may have needed the readies, to keep HMRC happy?

....and some Wire fans have conveniently forgotten this widely reported fact and think loads of money has now been freed up to sign a top notch replacement
