I don't think anyone would expect or want you to run it at a loss.

Well I'd say your prices are about right then.

I can understand the Fev re-arrange game not being full mid week an all that, like wise Swinton again some people don't like to drive a 'long way' on motorways but will happily drive to Swinton, and that's why you may struggle with the Widnes one.

Its a good price Linda is like to see anyone get there in the same time on public transport, then you dont have to park your car miles away, you can have a drink etc....

Yes and I'm sure our lot will be wanting their usual 5/6 seats as well. On the subject of the price and for comparison. A seat on the coach to our first ever SL away match at Warrington cost £5.... Over four years ago.

Just been having a look at the quotes I got a few months ago for a coach to Widnes:

Cheapest (49 seaters) £350 = £7.14 per seat
Dearest £450 = £9.18 per person

The cost per person would need to be higher to cover any possible empty seats so the cost would have to be approx £8.50 'ish per person. Then to allow LISA members a discount the price would have been about £8 members / £9 non-members.
So I think we are getting a very good price.

The only cheaper method would have been to hire a double decker bus for £320 (73 seats) whilst it is only a 30 minute journey.

I dont think its bad. Ask your self this. If your boss asked you to work sunday for single time, would you be happy. The lad or lady driving you probably would not have been able to go for a pint on saturday night either. I once tried to organise a coach to Leeds to watch Genesis. It was slow and old, but cheap. Never again. I'll leave it to the people who know.

To be honest the last couple of weeks have been horrendous, ive been very busy at work and Kaths been ill. We had 3 away games in close sucession.
And before ANYONE ASKS no we arent doing one to Toulouse. However I will be enquiring about two for the Gatehead game.
1 to go on the day and one for the weekend which we are doing.

Its been spot on as far as I'm concerned. I know last season a couple of coaches had to be subsidised through lack of demand, and this season there have definitely been more people booking on the coach - you must be doing summat right!!!

Let us know what the plan is for Gateshead - our lot are on about doing a weekender - not booked owt yet but hoping to sort summat soon.
