Ryan brierley has thanked the RFL for their support - which suggests he's been in contact with them for advice.

re the remark ,I knew my workplace was breaking the law .I did report my employers for doing it.What did I get 7 or 8 weeks without a job or benefits until my allegations were proven.All this is he said they said let the courts decide

He has discussed it with the club- they have then put out a shockingly unprofessional statement making accusations - he should be entitled to defend himself.
As an outsider looking in I've seen Beaumont act as a classless prat with a big mouth and an unprofessional attitude- demonstrated numerous times.
I've only ever seen brierley act in a professional manner regarding the circus that's gone on around him. Now it could be that brierley has a modicum of intelligence and is just extremely cunning.
Or it could be that what I've seen is a true reflection.

Well this has all descended in to a steaming pile of puerile stench. I hope Derek has the stomach to dig us out of this one, and I sincerely hope Jukesy made the comments he is reported to have made and was happy to have said comments published.

I'm worried about, but not particularly convinced of the idea that we're currently in a death spiral.

There's much that only time is going to tell us about this situation.

There are 2 things wrong with this post ....
make that 3.

1. Gaskell is a natural 6, a Stand Off, not a 7 (RB is not an orthodox 7 but a class player nonetheless)
2. We already have 2 natural stand offs in Riddy & Rangi *if Rangi is not also on his way out*
3. Why would Bulls release their best player to their strongest Championship rivals ?

What exactly did Ryan expect to happen when resigning as our only fit half back?

I've had employees resign and then escorted them off the premises

Ultimatly he signed a fixed term contract, he should honour that contract, if there is a reason he cant, then either say why, or say nothing ,

And as I put earlier, what 1 player earns or how he is treated is of no concern to any other player ,end of

Brierley (or his agent) are the ones orchestrating the media circus. It has been going on for far too long. Brierley handed his notice in on Monday night. It got leaked through the press and it clearly didn't come out through Leigh. Rowley left and about an hour later Total RL already had an 'exclusive' containing confidential details about Brierley's contract and it's clauses and stating he was about to walk.

Has a player outside the top flight ever had so much endless speculation about his every move? It isn't a coincidence. Him or his agent use the press to keep as much attention and hype about him as they possibly can. And it works, he is never out of the papers.
