I'm in two minds on whether it was bad game management, or just simply missed chances. Either way it wss a frustrating game to watch. We had two missed drop goal attempts, a missed penalty, Thornley's drop with the line at his mercy in the first half, bombed chance the tackle immediately before and Thornley unable to drop onto a kick through in the second half.
We need McNally back into our attack asap, because without him we look too slow. I think a poor kicking game in good conditions from Toronto tricked us into a bad selection. York dominated the first 20 minutes every kick led to either a knock on or a poor start to a set. I think Cox will be on the wing now until McNally is fit.
Anyone know why Higginson and Holroyd aren't getting a look in?

But that's my point , our drop goal attempts were under pressure , they knew we would be doing it ,
Last week after we had scored and got to 6 behind Toronto with 14/13 minutes left , we should have gone up the middle ( we ended up with a repeat set as they knocked on ) and kicked a 1 point , making it a 1 score game to win ( again added pressure on your opposition ) and we retain the ball for a 4 succssesive set
I do wonder if we have any form of ' play book ' as in the captain or HB makes a call and everybody then knows what we are going to do ?
