I thought briscoe was very good when he came back on.

John im not just having a go at Briscoe , he did knock on very late though which cost us attacking momentum,and the chance was gone , anybody can knock on i know that it was just at a very bad time ,Hilly needs some replacing , our props are OK , and Taylor and Goulden just need support ,Worrincy needs more urgency , for me Hopkins should be persevered with .

Mate watching on telly reckoned it was a ball steal when Briscoe was penalised for the knock on.

Hoppy is being shifted about all over the pack at the minute - stick him in second row and leave him to progress there instead of expecting him to do a lot more ball handling at 13 which simply isn't his game.

As someone mentioned on another thread, I think we actually missed the go-forward of Gallagher last night, especially when we were on the back foot.

At least Briscoe has a decent work rate and he didn't knock on it was a blatant ball steal. We rely far to much on Jimmt and Goulden on defence without them in the middle we looked poor.

As you say anyone can knock on,its the giving away of unnecessary penalties we should be a bit peeved about plus the terrible tackling

agree about Gallagher as for hopkins i'm sure he's playing at loose just to give the pack a bit more size

Tommy G and Jimmy T are the workhorses in our defence agreed but i just feel Briscoe aint up to it , i will watch the Game very soon on Premier Sports as i recorded it last night ,but for me it was a knock on not a ball steal , im looking forward to seeing the Duffs obstruction decision also .

John the Ref was Camera Happy and played to them , id love to see the Penalty Count , he gave plenty to both sides ,at times our tackling was dismal especially for Preeces first try .
