I would have never considered attending last night, I always viewed it as a sponsors night - I know that isn't the case but it does highlight the lack of WE in the club, even at this critical time when fans are desperate to do their bit I don't get the feeling of WE.

We need a 'Club Leigh' spirit, we need a meeting point to gossip, meet up with mates, have the craic and feel we are united with a common goal.

The end of season presentation should be a fans chance to recognise the efforts of their team, £5 a ticket with Lobby thrown in and held upstairs at Miners.

If we are to have a £25 do then 20 sponsors need to take a table each with fans who want to go taking the remainder.

Spot on Maurice !! With supporters contributing (in some cases substantially) to various donations and collections to keep the club alive, I think £50 a couple before any drinks was just beyond most supporters pockets at this point in time.

That was rubbish, Riddy, Hopkins, Ellis, Nico,Mc Gilvary, higson, Taylor, Littler, Briscoe, Thornley,were there and most of the 23 side and the younger ones. Hilly and Goulden on Holiday and Duffy with Scotland squad.

Excellent turn out from the lads despite the money issues at the mo....... lets hope we get all these lads resigned for next season (except the ones signed for other clubs).

Get em resigned and will still be 1 of the top clubs next season and with a few new signings to boost the squad we will be contenders.

Plenty players available next season who have been released by other clubs - Greenwood,Goddard,Hulme,Gaskell plus I suspect a few Barrow players will be looking for a new club.

Plenty to look forward to.
