put it this way we wont get a point out of easter this year no eggs in our basket this year
Got to disagree with you I`m afraid I have watched Widnes twice and they play boreing one man rugby that can be beaten if you throw the ball about a bit.Was not impressed with them to say they are a full time team I expected to come away from the games in awe of them .They were not super fit either so I don`t know whose in charge of fitness up there in short they looked very average and can be beaten I assure you.

You've not seen us play, have you?
Either Widnes by 20, or a 1-1 draw. Can't decide which is more likely.
Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

Unfortunatley Linda it seems that we also play like Widnes and seem unable to play an expansive game
a full time team means nothing unless its a good one, even though they (Widnes) aren't one. Neither are we, theres more strike in a box of matches than our team and more holes in our defence than a piece of Emmental cheese.
We always raise our game for Widnes, and I think it'll be more the case on Friday with Ned being in charge. This game could turn the 'drab' start of the season around or it could continue the demise
Well as Leigh4eva is currently not posting I think TKL will not play cos he,s on contract money anyway.
Duffy will have indegestion, Doran will be sin binned for holding down, Gaskell will continually knock on.Doran will be red carded for doing it again. Leigh will take 500 fans and those there will be glad they were at the game because we,ll have a ref who doesn,t penalise us for high tackles, holding down or not being square at the play the ball. Leigh by 10.
You obviously came up with that one, before Ronnie Laughton was appointed!

Oh yes the mighty Halifax has spoken, considering we have played poorly in 2 games against your lot there has only been a try in it. We'll be ready for the end of the season dont worry about that.
And if we get beat by Leigh on Friday i will top myself.

You're one of us, part of our culture, writing our history as you create your own, and making us stronger for it....
