From what I have seen of Leigh over the last few seasons, Ryan has been your stand out performer. Given absolutely everything to Leigh RLFC and has always ignored media speculation about his future and continued to put in big performances. Even with all this going on, he still put a big 80 mins in at Bradford last week and the reason for doing so, is because of each and every one of you (the fans) yet without knowing the full story, you've all turned on him.

The problems come about when things become personal. Everyone concerned DB,PR and RB all had a choice.They all chose to make it personal.That's were the professionalism fails.

I havent suggested it is his agent messing about, but as you suggest, its one of them, either Ryan or the agent, take your pick

If he has submitted a 4 week notice under our current situation then I doubt he'll play again for anybody this season, which is a shame because just as Ryan has been good for LRLFC, LRLFC has been good for Ryan, its worked both ways, he could simply have continued to the seasons end and left with good wishes, his choice, nobody else's

So Ryan says he has not asked for more money. He has not told Jukesy that Bradford have approached him and he doesn't have an offer from any club. He will leave on 1st April. The plot thickens!

Ryan Brierley has spoken for the first time since being suspended by Leigh Centurions, and has denied the claims made by the club.

The Centurions dramatically revealed that Brierley was forbidden from going near the club after it was leaked that he had activated a four-week release clause in his contract. Leigh went on to claim Brierley had said he had been offered a deal by Championship rivals Bradford Bulls but would stay if he was offered an improved deal.

However, Brierley has hit back at his former employers, and claimed the accusations are incorrect.

“Firstly I’d like to thank the Leigh fans for the patience and support they have given me in this situation.

“I’ve kept my silence out of respect of the club’s supporters and my team-mates, as I thought that was the most professional way to deal with it – and I hoped Leigh would also handle the situation in a classy, professional fashion.

“I was totally distraught and heartbroken to hear the news that I had been suspended from the club over Twitter.

“In regards to the statement the club released about me, I can categorically state that I never approached Neil Jukes and asked for more money, and not once did I mention another club.

“From day one of Neil Jukes taking the head coach role, I was hugely supportive of him.

“So I’m deeply disappointed that the club stated that Neil Jukes delivered such false accusations of me after the great service I have given them.

“I’ve never been motivated by money, and my professionalism and integrity is something I pride myself on so I would never let that be questioned, and I certainly will not have people lie about me.”

He continued: “I will not give in-depth reasons as to why I gave my month’s notice at the club, but I have not spoken to any other club and I could potentially be without a job on April 1st.

“I fully intended to see out my contract with Leigh Centurions, but there’s certain things I don’t agree with at the club and that’s for everyone to make their own mind up on.

“But my professionalism, dignity and respect for my career will always takes precedence.

“I have given my all for Leigh on and off the field – I’ve done promos off my own back and sacrificed time away from my family to give back to this club as it is truly what the fans deserve.

“I’m still a contracted Leigh Centurions player, and I will be fully supportive of my team-mates as I class them as my close friends, and wish them all the best from the bottom of my heart.

“This has been a hugely stressful situation for me and I don’t mind saying it’s led to some sleepless nights, but I wanted to put my side of the story across.

“I’d also like to thank Craig Harrison, my agent, for all the strength and support he’s given to me at this time. I’d like to offer my thanks to RFL for their support too.”

So let me get this straight- leigh fans are blaming Ryan brierley for this- the player who has been one of your most influential players and throughout all the media circus that Beaumont has courted has continued to give his absolute all on the field. You are believing the word of Beaumont, who has embarrassed himself and the club on numerous occasions with his rants. Who does Beaumont name as the club who has made an offer? Not the many superleague clubs who have already tried to pay substantial transfer fees and would be in a position to pay brierley much bigger sums given the bigger salary cap. Bradford. The team who are Leigh's biggest rivals and have previously banned him from their ground because of his disgraceful behaviour. The championship side that would be a sideways move for a player who has been offered the opportunity to play at the very top of RL with the multi winning champions.
Your long standing coach has left due to integrity-the fact that they aren't publicly stating hat it's in regard to might be because they have the fans and players future in mind. wake up- Something doesn't smell right.

And lol at how "crap" brierley has suddenly become overnight in the eyes of the fans

Potentially leaving on 1 april... Maybe it's one hell of an elaborate April fools joke..

Shame for the genuine fans when you can't just concentrate on what's on the pitch.

For what it's worth I think you will get back to winning ways against Sheffield and that will hopefully help blow some of this over...
