W71, the average Joe in Leigh is Pd off with what our town has become and the placing of hundreds of mainly Muslim Asylum Seekers/Illegals has created a ghetto feel as the town continues along its journey into the smelly stuff.
I dont go into town anymore, pooh shops, immigrants everywhere and one even trying to sell the Big Issue. It simply doesnt feel like Leigh.
I live in Pennington, thankfully none have been placed here so I can avoid the feelings of despair I get when in town. I am sure you can also avoid the day to day reality in Exeter, or even Appley Bridge.
Avoided the reality of what has been created allows one to pontificate the virtues of the British way, fighting for the underdog, just causes, doing whats right - you do it very well, much better than most could argue against you.
The reality doesnt change though, we are far too soft with minorities, we bend to cater for them, we often seem to be against what being British is about and have done a great job in turning the average Joe into a potential right wing voter because we are so frustrated with the reality on our streets.
We need a radical overhaul of our immigration and human rights policies, and we need to toughen up with how we deal with Muslim extremists within our society.
I welcome anyone to our shores who wants to embrace what being British is about, our values, our visions and our opportunities. Anyone with an agenda to change these should be thrown out now before it goes too far.
