I was, of course, being sarcastic. I had heard of Leigh before our well documented demise (for whatever reason out of the fans control). Having watched a team which has done ok in the not too distant past, I still wouldn't go around accusing other teams of being jealous of us or our fan base. It's laughable and one of the reasons that opposition fans feel the way they do.

Yes, that's interesting. I was born in the 70's so it's a pleasent surprise to find out that music existed before then.

You'll get used to it. It comes with the territory of supporting a team with an owner spending beyond their club's natural means. Clubs like Leigh and Salford have a place you know and it's not on the top table.

You'd struggle to find any real Leigh fan who would take pleasure in another clubs financial difficulties.

There are, however, plenty of Leythers who remember the reaction of the travelling haven fans the day we got 'relegated'. It was a reaction that will stay with some of us for a long time. So I was personally delighted when you got relegated. Not because I like to see a team suffer, but because I enjoyed giving the haven fans a taste of their own medicine
