The RFL rulings quite clearly state all contracts are null and void. If Leigh as a club have contradicted those rulings by allowing clauses to be accepted and the RFL did agree (which I doubt) then possibly they may have a case. But ultimately the blame will still reside with the governing body.

On the positive side I believe Widnes have come out with the same null and void comment

So they are taking Leigh to court in an attempt to 'secure lost wages'? Yet they all were successful in finding new employers, who are presumably paying them wages too?

Obviously, if they are successful, they will donate their wages (from one club) to a charity?

They could have signed for less wages and looking for compensation for the difference, there could be other loses too.

As I've said before an employer (or even the RFL in this case) can write what he wants into a contract, but isn't necessarily legal until some on questions it in court.

Atomic, I'm sure it will be the same as we got last season Half a Million, which will help them remain full time.I can't see Francis Cummins staying on as Coach either,meaning a full time vacancy in that Dept.
