That was my thought! how many clubs in SL have done it this year and then the Visa be denied at the last minute.

We usually set the trend by announcing signings and then not getting them so maybe we will set the trend and the player will actually get the Visa

Regarding the granting of visas to players I have been told, most RL players denied them, have had them denied, because of our RFL not backing the application. This time the RFL seem to be backing the application.

Conclusion I draw is that the RFL have watched a few of our games on dvd this season and feel sorry for us.

It always astonishes me that in premiership football they never have any trouble getting visas for the players they bring in from any country.

Wasn't Jamie Lyon retired and farming when Saints got him? maybe a superstar on the horizon
