this was one game where, rather than be negative against the team, i would credit the opposition instead.


thought ned catic was sensational for barrow, and finch was a real inspiration.

Well I think our problem in all games has been the innability to create anything on our opponents line.
Due to this we are not adding to our score and therefore the opposition must feel that they are still in the game. This frustrates our guys who give away silly penalties that get the opponents down field. Their tails are up and we are pushing the panic button. Hence the close results this season.
I think our defence is quite good but due to the above we lose confidence. Barrow and Doncaster the week before (plus others) have been poor and we should have been out of sight but we can't play basic rugby.
Just watched a few highlights on the SL show -wow, that's a different game.
They run at speed, back up, pass the ball along the line - what the fc()k are we playing?

Finch can kill you from Dummy half.

Unfortunately though, NL1 (or the Championship!), just needs a quick play the ball, and away you go!!

We are very slow at getting up. Maybe mastering this will give us the improvement we need in attack.

Barrow are a good little side, but its a Marathon, not a sprint. It looks like the fear factor at LSV effect the home side more than the away one!!

though andy ellis, the barrow rake, was quick and gave precision ball from dummy half

He's a good player at this level is Andy Ellis, especially now he picks when to pass and when to run, he was always a handy runner from dummy half but he's now worked a lot on his passing and you can see the improvement.

ITS NOWT TO DO WI BARROW!!!! ITS ALL TO DO WITH LEIGH & OUR COACH!!!!! With or without Watson, that game should have been wrapped up and WON!!! 16-2 up against a team just promoted and get beat?!?!?! We totally out classed them in the 1st half and at half time I had a feeling we didn't score enough points for all our pressure!! We did go poop when Watson went off but thats coz we had no1 to organise them on the pitch!!!! MR KELLY - WE NEED A PLAYMAKER & QUICK!!!! ps - anyone know why a Leigh lad who played with me at Golborne Parkside for years in Andy Bracek is playing at Barrow on loan when he plays and lives near Warrington!!!! I have just looked and his bird is from the north west of England - they have moved up there coz they prob paid him the most money!!!!
