The black and gold St Davids cross came into exsistance in 1921 following acceptance of the union untill then they'd flew under the shared Celtic flag of St Pat
Wales since then has had 2 further National flags a red , white , and green tricolour with a black star and the red Dragon rampant on a white and green background as we know today |

| This reminds me of something that happened when my brother died. My mum took a badge off his jacket because he'd always worn it and stuck it on her fleece. It was a Union Jack, with some writing on it, too small for her to read without her glasses, but not enough words to bother about. So off she went to Asda, complete with union jack that said Asylum, off home.
Before you say owt, I dont condone the badge or it's meaning, I just find it hilarious that my mum wore it to Asda |

Its only a racist act if they were doing it because of their, or your, race. More likely it was just a couple of scroats who happen to be of a different ethnic background. It's low-life scum acting true to type, but it's almost certainly nothing to do with race.
BTW, St George was the Lebanese son of a Palestinian woman and a Roman soldier. An appropriate patron for our multicultural nation to be proud of, I'd say. |

Good post. I have nothing against anyone in this country because of where they come from ... I have a huge problem with scroats and sallies, regardless of where they come from. |
