Not as far as I am concerned.Also there are other professions that don't let you back in after certain misdemeanors.

Not necessarily. Look at the Leeds lad Walker. Although 12months seemed harsh for him. That is how our so called role models should be treated if they behave like common thugs and criminals. Mitigation can swing a magistrates court untill it goes to crown.
