SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!
An ' unofficial ' request has been made to the LSV management for the clock from the Hilton Park scoreboard to also be put ' somewhere ' within/on/under the LSV stadium
It is also being considered
I will remind them of this request [ or blackmail was how they termed it ] next week
I will then [ when they say yes ] get the club to officially request the same
Serious sport has nothing to do with fair play. It is bound up with hatred, jealousy, boastfulness, disregard of all rules and sadistic pleasure in witnessing violence. In other words, it is war minus the shooting. George Orwell

Well it seems like I owe an apology to Mr Ditchfield, I received a reply this morning and it appears the the rugby club have not even asked for the Hall of Fame to be displayed! (I'm always big enough to apologise if I'm in the wrong)
He says that he would be 'willing to discuss any request to display the 'Hall of Fame' should one be made by the Club'.
So I was wrong, now I just need to speak to someone at the club about their intentions regarding this matter.
Well done for admitting you were wrong on this occasion.
I know LSV have done/not done lots of things much to the annoyance of people on here, but that’s at least two occasions that I know of were they have been criticised, when actually they’d not even been asked, it's important that we get the facts and not just hearsay, so thank you for putting the record straight.
Good luck with the Hall of Fame, it and the clock should be part of LSV its part of our history.

As a Leyther, you’re one of us the moment you come here to wear the shirt. I don't care where you were born, what colour you are, what religion you are, what language you speak. You're one of us, part of our culture, writing our history as you create your own, and making us stronger for it....

As long as they don't spoil it...by mending the thing!!
Why on earth LSV can not open the Legends bar to anyone is a complete mystery to me,the could be full before every game.It only need someone with a bit of common sense.Come on LSV sort it out, before long the bar wont be open at all.

I have to agree with the Watcher, why have it there if it cant be used by all the fans, they would make a good few quid if it was available......
Its always looks empty on match days when it should be full [ish depending on crowd of course]
Couldnt agree more with you Fred, why not spend any 'spare' money you may have in comfortable surroundings where you are made to feel more than welcome and it does not cost you an arm and a leg. After all its only a short walk to get you climatised when you have finished
