As usual the Rugby League press have the story and leighleopards.co.uk remains stony silent. Still not learning from previous mistakes about posting retentions and leavers (with the exception of Kai and Lachlan).

Nothing on the website of interest and "The Derek Beaumont Interview" is nestled behind the firewall which wants to charge a yearly figure not much less than the streaming giant Disney+. Can't help but think they have the pricing all wrong (personally it should be free).

Totally agree Sept. The lack of news to stimulate fan engagement and the all important IMG Digital has been once again poor. This silent approach from the club seems to go against all the effort the club put in last season to meet the IMG criteria. Leigh Leopards appears to be sleepwalking whilst all our competitor clubs are engaging fans with positive news particularly of new signings.

Are new signings part of the IMG grading system? What quantifies engagement through social/digital media?

They announced the 10 new signings in October. They know they need a 6 and I would welcome another experienced centre but they can't announce signings until they get them. We will have an awesome pack with the additions of Halton, Trout, Norman and Brogan. The rest are for the formation of a reserve team. Have patience. I'm quite sure we're in for another exciting season.

Agree with WSWIWYG2 there we know what we need to be a consistent top 4 or five team but unfortunately they are the hardest and most expensive to come buy there definitely is patience needed off us fans and let's not forget we do have mellor who was supposed to be our first choice alongside locky but used him as a back up hooker instead, I've no idea why Aaron Smith was used so little last season considering how much he played the previous term . However I can't help to think that Derek has it all planned out , let everyone else announce their sighnings then we can command the media and air waves with the leapards season launch and get everyone buzzing for the season ahead .
