From the names mentioned above , I would let 16 of these players go ,although it has been reported Russell has signed for Salford , and Thorniley signed for Wigan , I’d try to keep Brierley but I’ve heard he has signed for Salford .I would think Wallace and Flower won’t play for Leigh again , and maybe Tierney,I can’t see Peteru and Peats playing for us again , and Gee and Helliwell are reported as found new Clubs .

The mass exodus has begun ....

With only 5 signed for 2022 *pretty sure Jai Whitbread is a 2 year deal* & 2 of those (Whitbread & Stone) having Super League/NRL clauses in their contracts we have potentially only 3 signed for next year.

I imagine the vast majority will go *again* !!!

Peats & Peteru will be released by Giants end of season. I would definitely look at bringing back Peats if at all possible, I don’t think we saw the best of him. If he has witnessed any rumoured shenanigans at Leigh he might prefer to go home to Oz or try a Super League club.

If the coach from Aus who turned down Leigh's offer had come, he would have had no one to coach!
I wonder if he asked DB about his plans and those who were on the club's radar, having found out us that why he refused the job?

So you don’t think come November we’ll have a squad of roughly 25 players, I’m not sure it’s the clubs place to let us know all the negotiations that are going on, including players who are currently contracted elsewhere.

However, give Derek your number and maybe he’ll keep you up to date, just like he offered to give you your ST money back with all your complaining early doors (and ever since )

Be as sarcastic as much as you wish Col, have you not noticed all the activity going on in non contractual players switching to other clubs, Leigh have been involved but only in that Leigh player's are going to other clubs and in my opinion it is our best players leaving, what I am saying is the longer it is left the fewer player's will be available to sign they will be contracted elsewhere.
Yes come November we will most definitely have a squad of roughly 25 player's no doubt about it, do you think the longer we wait until we start to sign on it will be a quality squad?
Derek won't have to offer me back any season ticket money, I won't be getting one, I will pick which games to attend.
And if I want to complain that is my prerogative, I have paid for that privaledge through my ST purchase, I seem to recall you saying you didn't bother getting one.
