Th Good The Bad and the Ugly! : Thu Feb 19, 2009 10:37 am
I didn't post last night as was as mad as a Wasp!

The Good!

Lee Wingfield i bet this lads heart nearly exploded his workrate was phenomenal i wasn't keen on signing him but last night proved me wrong he gave 110% well done wingy!

The Bad

Mr Child either was out to impress the watching Controller of Referees or he has had a bad experience in Leigh! In 20 years i have never seen a more biased performance. The Pitch I know they have had some bad eather but it wasn't the best.

The Ugly

Hobbo cost us big time and let all his mates down. For me he didn't connect the Rovers fans say different and they were nearer than me. I would ban him for 4 matches for intent he wanted to hurt their man. he's a liability i'm afrad!

Was unable to make the game last night but from reading numberous posts on here we can all be proud of the lads effort! I think we all knew going into the season that Hobson was going to do something stupid, lo and behold he has done 2 games in the season. When he plays, he can be a dangerous runner but until he sorts his discipline out he's going to have problems.

What ban do you think he is likely to recieve?

From the opening posting on this thread - am I to assume Cummings was at the game.

From all accounts Child is the blue eyes boy of the controller of referees, perhaps he will change his mind after this debacle

From my understanding Mr Cummins was at the game, i assume Mr Childs antics on the field where that he was trying to impress by playing to the absolute letter of the law!! Unfotunately he only penalised Leigh, it is impossible in a game like last night in those conditions for both teams not to hold down etc the differnce being that he didn't penalise Fev for it. He joins a long list who have had it in for us. Paul Crashley (who was the match comissioner last night) was one of the worst in the late eighties early nineties i remember him getting escorted from the field after a particulary bad game at Wilderspool.

Maybe more truth in that than you think seeing as he apparently did the same to Widnes against Oldham
