He was a regular in the nsw and Queensland cup leagues, which are on a par with championship. I don’t think Edwin played many nrl games before we signed him, but he hasn’t turned out to be a bad player. Let’s give him a chance. He doesn’t take up a quota spot.

Everybody knows that Ches runs every signing past Lam Snr and then Derek. You are outnumbered H1895, not to mention out-experienced.

Time will tell. In the interim, "Welcome to Leopards, Ethan (and Will)."

I’m being told by a family member is Aus that this guys runs and plays very similar to a certain second row who has just headed the other way. I’m hoping that is accurate.
Kai came as a relative unknown and limited first team NRL experience. I was excited from them from what I was told by this same family member and what I had seen a couple of times in Aus coverage. Less coverage of Ethan but he did play pre-season this time around and has been retained all season, so they saw value in keeping him around. Chezzy and Lam know their onions, he will not be on a big contract, he adds to a need area, and is not quota.
I’m putting my money on another diamond in the rough. And Lammy is the perfect diamantaire (ok, I had to Google that name for a Diamond cutter)

He played junior rugby in England as a youngster when his father was playing over there, identical situation as Lammy and son.

It’s called smart scouting.
Chezzy is the master at it, and Lam Sr knows potential when he sees it.
Maybe do your research before you post about us making bad signings, on our forum.
