I see FP has been released by Hull. At 23 yrs old, 6foot 3in and 21stone, he's the size of prop forward we could do with. Do you think Lammy could tame him? He was in a toxic culture at Hull FC. I remember a certain Timmy Street first joining Leigh with a similar reputation and he went on to become a Leigh legend.

I think under Lammy's wing, Pele would do well at Leigh and is definitely worth a punt.

There might be potential there, but with the amount of quality that we are losing from the pack for next season, it's probably too much of a gamble to use an overseas spot on him.

Not for me. Size of player does not necessarily equate to potential.

I would have said yes though to his soon to be former team mate Herman Ese'ese. Now there is a proper wrecking ball.

No point in speculating since Herman is not available.

I think that we can do a lot better in our picks that Pele

Well, I'd take a punt. He's only young and needs to be mentored to channel his aggression properly. The few times I have seen him and he has been on the field, I've been impressed with his wrecking ball runs. He would be in good surroundings and culture at Leigh, and Lammy would sort him out.

Pele played 8 games and was banned for 4. Not the kind of player you would want at Leigh. He has joined Bradford which probably indicates his current level.

Well, it's all hypothetical as he's gone to Bratfort! Be interesting to see how he goes. Dupree was farmed out on loan to lower clubs after Leeds let him go and look how that worked out.
