it's a shame for Shandy, last time I saw him 'wearing an old official club blazer' (outside) the Thomas Burke, he shouted to me " Leigh, Leigh Rugby - Leigh legend inside" At the bar, there was a rather 'young' looking Neil Turley at the bar (well, i am 45)

Don't be too harsh, he can't help it.

I remember the letter we posted in Blackburn a couple of years ago, that just said "SHANDY BASS, LEIGH" on the envelope, and it got there................and THAT got him a full page spread in the Wigan evening post!!!





Also a while ago, in the Hilton Arms Sunday night quiz, when the picture round was "famous leythers", Shandy was the only one EVERY TEAM got!!
