Couldn't do it this year, I've moved to Scunthorpe 'properly' this weekend so I'm a bit busy getting straight. First one I've missed in a few years too. From what I've heard, it was a bit damp?

Great turn out again and the kids loved it.

I felt a bit sorry for the lad on a Halifax Blue Sox scooter who was pushing it up Newton Road whilst maybe others 1000 raced past him. Don't know if he got it going but he looked a bit glum.

I'm still trying to get a photo of that and mine together, wish I'd been there to point and laugh

Seem to be a lot of RL scooters around at the moment - GB Lions, couple of Bradford Bulls ones, the Blue Sox one (I think it needs redoing along with the GB one!), a St Helens one, mine and a particularly cra Wigan one. Suspect there are probably more than football themed ones just now.

Saw a few with Wigan Warriers on, If Id have been quick enough I just may have took their eggs and give them to another rider and let their tyres down

I was actually under the impression that it ended last year, so it was a pleasant surprise to be passing so many of them between Leigh and Chorley yesterday afternoon.
