If we have a fully fit pack I think Philbin would struggle to get a place, fortunately that is not likely to happen too often. But he does add depth to the squad and allows Powell to rotate his big men. When we get towards the end of the season having seasoned players like Philbin around could be crucial in the knock out stages.

I see Wellens has had another whinge too. It's funny that they're rattled but history shows they will eventually intimidate the refs into chucking a few decisions their way when it really matters.

Which is what all the moaning is about from the Club rather than fans. Force the ref to think v carefully before giving even the most obvious of penalties.
Their fans seem to think we are the RFL’s darlings, hate to think what sort of ban Maguire would have got if the RFL didn’t like us.

Nothing to lose, if overturned great, if a game added allows them to play the victim (again).

Surprised it's took this long for that lot to lodge an appeal against any of there players bans..hope they give him an extra game now that would put redvee into meltdown

Thing is, if I were a referee & I had LMS doing his moaning Cockney geezer routine in my ear everytime I reffed one of their games, I'd probably eventually get hacked off and start to wind them up with a few ropey decisions too...

We embarassed them, so have a year of being targeted by referees and the panel alike. It'll do Wellens' rotation for him though as he's unlikely to ever need to rotate anyone as they'll be getting suspended for anything all year.
