I think the Leigh rebrand is the cats whiskers, a purrfect way to get publicity, I wonder how the Leigh fans are feline about it though, purrrhaps its just a paw publicity stunt that no one has spotted.

I did wonder if it was appropriate in 2022. Used to be a banter term pre-2000s, almost expected if you were a visiting Widnes fan. Since leprosy is a thing of the past and not in recent memory I thought it would be safe to post

I'm not remotely offended but when I was in India I saw quite a number of poor souls suffering from leprosy.

You’re right, I just googled it… I’ve been all over the world (including Africa and India) and I didn’t realise it was still a thing. Better be more careful next time.
