Philbin was very good in his time on the field the day he got injured ,like his old self.

Bullock will be gone before philbin. Although if I had a choice I'd keep bullock over philbin or makiele.

Have you employed a defensive coach for 2023?

Ha ! I'll second that.

As a bonus question, I remember the start of the first season Ade Gardner was in charge of fitness. We looked super fit and survived certain depletions against a Wigan side with relative ease. This season just gone ( thankfully ) I don't seem to have seen an equivalent level of fitness which has been compounded by too many second half collapses ..... are they related ?

No need. Defence was faultless apart from when we conceded points.

Gardner is still here, i did wonder the same through the season, but i can't say other than mikaele, anyone has ever really looked out on their feet.

But that doesn't meant that when DP came in, he didn't set a different S&C program with the S&C staff.

Fitness wise we looked fine, it was just the effort from the players that isn't there. And Mikaele has always been the same fitness wise so can't put that on the fitness staff. Mikaele is a MASSIVE guy so will never have a massive engine unless he lost a few stone.
